Reliable for school trips

This was the third time our school used PGL for a residential trip, this time for a Primary School Trip. As always, they delivered a well-organized experience. The teachers found the support staff to be very helpful, and the kids loved the climbing and abseiling. It's consistent; we know what to expect with PGL. They handle all the logistics pretty smoothly, which is why we keep coming back.

Fun camp, easy booking

Signed my daughter up for a Half Term Camp. She had a blast with the canoeing and fencing. It was pretty easy to book everything online, didn't have any issues there. The drop-off and pick-up were smooth too. Overall, a good experience for her.

Good activities, mixed experience

We booked a Multi-Activity Holiday for my son last summer. The range of activities like zip wire and raft building was fantastic, and he really enjoyed himself. The staff seemed engaged and kept the kids busy. However, communication leading up to the trip was a bit slow; I had to chase for some details about packing. The online booking process was straightforward enough, but I wished there was a clearer timeline for when pre-departure info would be sent out. Value for money was decent, considering all the activities included.

Amazing adventure for my kids

My two kids just got back from a Summer Camp and they had the best time ever! They did everything from archery to the giant swing, and couldn't stop talking about it. Booking was easy on the website, and all the info I needed was there. They made so many new friends and gained so much confidence. I will absolutely be booking another Adventure Holiday next year for them!

Thinking of booking a summer camp for my two kids next year. Do they do sibling discounts or anything if I book for both of them at once?

J Jennifer Moore 1 day ago
I think so, I saw something about it in their FAQs when I was looking into camps. It's usually a percentage off per child, like 10-15% from what I remember.

Yeah, they usually have a multi-child discount. I got one for my two last year, it was applied automatically when I booked on their site.

Is PGL generally considered better than Kingswood? Trying to decide which one to send my son for a school trip.

S Stephanie Harris 3 days ago
I've heard good things about PGL, especially for younger kids. My nephew went to Kingswood last year and loved it though, so might just depend on the specific center and activities.

Hard to say 'better' definitively. PGL has been around forever and has a solid reputation for safety and activities. Kingswood is also good, a lot of it comes down to what specific activities your son is into and the vibe of the particular location, I think.
